![]() This part of the yard was basically abandoned. Ooids are spherical grains made up of concentric layers. These deposits occur in the Inferior Oolite of the Jurassic system. They had been dealing with the huge difference in grade for some time now. Oolite are the sedimentary rocks from ooids. Were proud to say Clipsham Stone is a member of the Lincolnshire Limestone deposits. Our client was perplexed as to how they could make this space more useful and safe at the same time. By constructing these planter boxes / retaining walls we were able to include different types of planting materials in these planting beds creating more color, texture and significance to the pool area. This Coral Stone has a Tropical appeal and is used in walls, columns, Building Veneer and as Bank or Shore Lining. Its oolite stone walls are 1.2 metres thick and, including its stone slate roof, it stands approximately 5.5 metres high.
